| Dr. Varghese V. Devasia is Reader a Tirpude College of Social Work, Nagpur University, Nagpur. He had his studies at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Bombay, Nagpur University and the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He has published a number of research papers in various journals. Dr. Devasia is the author of the following books: The Phenomenon of Murder (1989), Female Criminals and Female Victims (1989), Criminology, Victimology and Corrections (1998). Dr. Devasia is the President of the Indian Society of Human Rights. |
