| Dr. S.R. Singh M.A., Ph.D. (born in 1950),University Professor of Economics under Magadh University, Bodh Gaya(Bihar) has a distinguished academic and administrative carrier of having more than 36 years of teaching and 20years of successful administrative experience as Principal.
Dr. Singh has been actively engaged in and devoted to the advanced teaching and research and has contributed 50 research papers 12 books in various socio-economic issues to his credit. He has successfully guided and prepared 10 research scholars leading for Ph.D. Degree awarded by the University. He has also completed one minor and one major research projects duly sanctioned by the U.G.C.
Dr. Singh has actively participated about 25 National and International seminars and Conference and has also visited abroad & presented papers at Durban (South Africa) in
June-July 2003. World Conference of Canaan Farmer's Movement at Seoul and Wong
(South Korea) in October 2005 and Orlando Florida (USA).
He has also received Rastriya Dinkar Smarity Shikhar Samman, 2003, Vijay Shree Award 2005 ,and also got very high appreciation from the Governor cum Chancellor of the University of Bihar in September 2005. He has also been representing a number of policy- making bodies of the University in many capacities. |
