| Born to economist father Late Prof. Srish Chandra Patnaik and gynecologist mother Prof. Premalata Patnaik on 10th November 1963 at Cuttack in the State of Odissa in India, Debasis Patnaik was awarded his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Hyderabad, India under the able stewardship of Professor of V V N Somayajulu in 2006. He completed his post-graduation from Deptt. of Economics, University of Bombay and was a Merit Scholarship holder for 2 years at PG level. |
