| Dr. Satish Chandra, a graduate from Lucknow University, and B. Tech (Silicate Technology) from Banaras Hindu University, joined Chalmers University and Technology Goteborg, Sweden in 1976 after obtaining Dr Ing from the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy, Cracow, Poland. He is at present working in the capacity of Associate Professor at the Division of Applied Concrete Chemsitry, Chalmers University of Technology. He is also Swedish representative in the EU committee; Urban Heritage, Building Maitenance. He has recently been appointed Overseas Consultant to the Board of Advisors of the Concrete Journal Published by the Indian Institute of Concrete. Roshan Taqui, M.A. (History), M.A. (Economics), M.E. (Civil Engineering) was born on 21 November, 1958. He has published 40 research paperss out of which 32 were exclusively on the History of Avadh. He helped three research scholars in completing their Ph.Ds. He wrote about cultural heritage of Avadh and the last Integrated culture of the world. His books "Lucknow Ki Bhand Parampara" (the traditions of clown of Lucknow) and "Lucknow Ke Mirasi (traditional singers of Lucknow)" were the only books on the subjects. He is author of several books and has also directed many plays. |
