Dr. Sahid Ashraf, M.A. (Gold Medalist), PhD has studied at Aligarh Muslim University, Jawahalal Nehru University and Patna University. After reaching at Aligarh Muslim University, he joined Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, where he is a senior member of the Faculty. Dr. Ashraf, author of many books and a regular contributor to various journals, has attended many seminars and symposia in India and abroad. He has also been a consultant to UN bodies like, ILO, Geneva and UNDP, New Delhi. Besides having stayed in USA for his academic pursuit, he has also visited many other countries.
Recently, Dr. Ashraf has diversified into studies on Islam and has many outstanding works to his credit. |
