| V. Krishnamurthy, PhD is a retired Deputy Director and Professor of Mathematics, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, India. He has also lived and taught at the University of Illinois and the University of Delaware, USA.
Professor Krishnamurthy was trained systematically in Hindu scriptural literature, in the traditional manner, by his father, R. Visavanatha Sastrigal, a scholar well known for his expositions in Hindu religion and philosophy. Professor Krishnamurthy has given several successful lectures and lecture series on Hinuism, the Ramayana, the Gita, the Upanishads and other scriptures to Indian and American University audiences. |
