The Agni Purana, a four-volume work (Vols. 27-29), is a part of the series of AITM. It deals with different subjects such as cosmology, genealogy, geography, astronomy, astrology, rituals from marriage to funeral, omens and portents, art and architecture, politics, war, law, medicine, prosody, poetics and grammar. It describes all the incarnations of Vishnu but those of Rama and Krishna in detail.
