This thirty-eighth volume in the series on Ancient Indian Tradition and Mythology constitutes the second part (Uttardrdha) of the Vayu Purana in English Translation comprising the last two of the four sections (Padas) into which the Purana is divided,viz. (1) prakriya, (2)Upodghata, (3) Anuisanga and (4) Upasamhara. The part contains in all fifty chapters, our of which the first three really belong to the second section i.e. The Upodghata pada of the first part of Purvardha, which appear to have wantonly sneaked into this part.
